Prayer Devotional #21

Colossians 4:2-4 “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison—that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.”
I hope that these last three weeks have been an encouragement to continue steadfastly in prayer, and that prayers will increase daily from our MBCC family. Remember that the main purpose of our prayers is that the gospel will go forward and more people will come to know Christ so that God will receive more glory (“Thy Kingdom Come”). Pray for open doors.
This concludes our devotional series on prayer. Thank you for participating, and keep on praying. In conclusion, pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
