ONE

ONE is a ministry group started by MBCC families involved in adoption and foster care which exists to serve vulnerable children and foster/adoptive families by providing education, support, and community.  Whether you feel led to pray, visit, equip, give, or nurture, there’s a place for you to serve and a life you can touch.  ONE child at a time. 

ONE Ministry Lunch – April 21

Join us on Sunday, April 21st after the 11:00 service on the playground for a ONE Ministry lunch picnic!  The mission of ONE is to serve vulnerable children and foster/adoptive families by providing education, support, and community.  Whether you feel led to pray, visit, equip, give, or nurture, there’s a place for you to serve and a life you can touch…ONE child at a time.  We invite you join us for lunch, fellowship, and to learn more about ONE whether you are walking the journey of adoption or foster care or want to serve and pray for vulnerable children and their families.

In 2021, there were 782 children in foster care in Jefferson County and 155 children in foster care in Shelby County. If you are interested in exploring what foster care looks like or just want to talk with someone about it, please fill out the interest form (above) and we can connect you! There is a great need in our city and what a way to be the hands and feet of Jesus! One more family who steps into foster care or adoption is one less child without a family.
