MBCC College is the college ministry of Mountain Brook Community Church. The college ministry at Mountain Brook Community Church exists so that college students in the Birmingham area might know and follow Jesus Christ, love and care for one another, grow in their knowledge of the Christian faith, and participate in God’s kingdom through service and mission.
MBCC College gathers twice a week at the UCF House:
Wednesday nights @ 7pm: There is a free meal provided for students, followed by a time of teaching from Scripture, prayer, and fellowship.
Sunday mornings @ 9:45am: We have a light breakfast, a time of fellowship, and then teaching. Sunday mornings center around how our faith intersects the realities of our daily lives (e.g., Faith & Sexuality, Faith & Work, etc.). This is a time for dialogue with one another about very real issues we face as Christians.
Outside of mid-week gatherings, the college ministry staff make it their aim to meet with students for discipleship throughout the week, whether individually or in small groups. We are involved with our mission partners locally and globally through various different means. The college ministry aims to take a missions trip once a year to Budapest, Hungary with our mission partner, The Paulus Movement. In everything that we do, our hope is that we all become conformed to the image of Jesus Christ to the glory of God.
We hope you come and join us.
